It certainly has it's charm with the royal palace, the lovely people, the beautiful sunset by the lake and all the great restaurants by the river. Luang Prabang is described in the guide books as the most beautiful city in Asia and is specially protected by UNESCO. Big call I thought but it couldn't be passed up. The streets of vietam as everyone who tells you are pretty much non-stop with the scooters. Walking with reckless abandon works amazingly well. It's my very last night in Hong Kong/China. My pants are a darker navy than before after being drenched by the sea. The only real highlight of Hong Kong was going to Lantao Island in the west. A good night out in Beijing consists of hangin out with 2 americans, 2 swedes, a canadian, a german, an englishman and a japanese dude. A night out is a night out.
