I... know how you feel.

I've been dating my current boyfriend for... just over a month? A month and a half, whatever. Now I usually think long-term with relationships, even if only one of mine was long-term (my first boyfriend in high school was almost a year). But my current boy is special. I mean, I'm 21, but he's going on 20, so yeah, we're pretty young, too. But we already love each other. Go figure. No one has been this -- and I hesitate to say this -- perfect for me. We complement and challenge, we support and tease, he macs to my cheese. And at this point in time, I don't want to date anyone else.

Like, ever.

But, I'm still waiting for him to turn around and be like "OH, BECCA, HOW I DON'T ACTUALLY LIKE THEE" and I cry and hate myself for another few years. But I'll spare you my drama.

You've only got one life, sweetpea, and if he makes you happy and you want to see where it goes, follow it! Take it from someone who was the pathetic and semi-creepy BFF with a crush for six years--when you find someone who makes you feel whole and happy, don't give that up.
