Thank you for your feedback. I am going to try to pick up the amount I do post but I hardly will be as commited as you. I love you too so much and thanks for the encouragement. Hugs, my daughter.

That was really well said. I think some parents of non-disabled kids live with the misconception that they have control over how their kids are going to turn out. Yeah, as parents to disabled kids, we have more challenges, but still, life is an ever-changing mystery and we might as well embrace it or at least accept it no matter whom we are parenting.

You are so right about that misconception about having control over how they turn out. As a parent of older children as well as one who's nine, I know you couldn't be more right. I really upset my one son who has CP when he once asked me what to do about something and I told him I just didn't know, that really got him. I had to learn how to let go and let them all make the choices they needed to to learn whatever was there to learn. And it is true too that we have alot of accepting (or embracing) as we go along. Took me until my early forties to get to that place but hey, I made it (I think).

Hey, I noticed we are both friends of LJ user Orbadviser.

Today is his birthday so I wondered if you would mind going to his journal and commenting, "Happy Birthday!"?

Thanks for considering it:)
