Best thing to do in this case...let the iPod run out of battery juice and once that happens, plug it back in. Same thing happened to mine a couple times this summer. Damn aggravating.

I know how to deal with it. The problem is that it happens constantly. Like, once a week at least.

what kind of ipod is it?
My old school black and white screen 20 gig one froze constantly. I had to get a new one while it was still under warranty, but then the second one broke too. I am wondering if it's just those that have problems (I know a lot of people with that one that have freezing/dying/breaking problems) or if I just break all ipods.

No one I know with a 30G video ipod has had problems so i'm thinking about getting one. I just think if I'm going to keep break it it's just not worth it.

Yeah, that's the same kind I have. I took it to the Apple store while it was under warranty, and they ran tests on it, but it came back with nothing wrong. Whatever, man. I'd think about getting a new one, but there's no way I can afford that. Well I guess I could, if I didn't buy food. And I love cooking too much to do that.
