<3 Thanks!

This is something that always comes up for me when people complain about: 'People need to stop writing X as a girl!' or, 'Why would X do that? he isn't a GIRL,' and similar arguments. Then people just jump all over it like it's some great pro-gay statement, when really they're just being crazy sexist, and it drives me up the wall. I've been sitting on this idea for ages. Today it wanted to be a fic, not just an idea.

Hah, sorry for rambling at you.

Aw, thank you so much! It's something that drives me insane, but usually the only way I can articulate it is in keyboard smashes and capslock rants to the BFF, so I avoid talking about it.

This just... happened. ♥

Sometimes I like to imagine Blaine as one of those people who is all earnestly concerned about the sociological impacts of EVERYTHING, so it kind of fell on his shoulders to get all upset about it.

Also, this fic is adorable. I love angry, pouty Blaine. And Kurt putting up with all his angry, poutiness.

:D Thank you so much!

I love highlighting Blaine's tendency to be a little over-the-top, while Kurt just humors him like a good friend/boyfriend. ♥!

I hate it when people are assign gender roles to same gender pairings especially in a slash fandom or just life in general. Sure I have my favourites when it comes to who bottoms or tops, but it's nothing to do with if I see one as the 'girl' or not. and more often than not I prefer them to switch it up.

this was very cute :)

Thank you!

Geez, this sort of attitude gets me so freaking upset. I don't rage about much online because it's the internet not RL, but this is one thing that never fails to get me angry.

I really like that you made it be about Kurt bottoming too, because a trend I see more often than I'd like with Top!Kurt revolves around concepts like "he's still a man!" or "he's too dominating to bottom" etc, etc and it makes me sad. Because those people just don't seem to grasp the concept. Bottoming isn't "girly" or even necessarily "submissive", and it's offensive to suggest it is. It's especially ironic that it pops up so frequently in communties largely populated by *women*.

I loved your preaching lol. It was such a sweet scene, and the lead up to it was such a cute, casual couple moment. Blaine certainly seems like the top to get caught up in sociological issues like this as well, so it made things feel less preacy than it could have. 'sides, Blaine is kinda preachy in canon, but charmingly so, and I think you matched that tone. ;)

Oh, thank you so, so much. I agree wholeheartedly. Seriously. Absolutely everything you said. It's often so hard for me to articulate those ideas because I will get too passionate about it and lose my temper, and it's just. so. frustrating.

I'm so glad you liked this. I really love the thought of Blaine being all, SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES!!1!, just because of the way he's come across in canon so far leads me to believe he could easily go that route.

I love your comment so much. I just want to roll around in it. ♥ You know, in a non-creepy manner. Thank you. :)

I have to admit, I wrote a review to an author on ffnet (the one who wrote Daddies), I love her fics but sometimes, in my very personnal opinion, Kurt was acting like a cliché mother adn Blaine was the cliché father.

I'm not saying that being a girl is bad or anything else (I'm a girl and I totally agree with your rant !) but sometimes, really, fics just put heteronormative types to Kurt.

Actually, my favourite smutty Klaine fic was about Blaine wearing a kilt and Kurt riding him XD

(and then again, I am rambling... I really need to sleep at night...)
