Well, I think Nathaniel Hawthorne once said something about how in a perfect short story, not a single word should be removable, nor should any words be needed. (Or maybe that was said about his works? Something like that.) In any case, you're obviously just practicing to be the next Nathaniel Hawthorne. Duh.

Really? Christ. I would not have guessed Nathaniel Hawthorne. There's a lot of removable words in his stuff.
