OK, I'm telling you now. The following are must see movies:

1) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - my all time favorite movie. Before Jack became a stereotype, lots of actors very early in their careers (DeVito, Lloyd, et al) while they were still young and hungry.
2) The Usual Suspects - I'm a Kevin Spacey fan, and this is one of his best. Ditto L.A. Confidential - the only good performance I've ever seen from Kim Basinger as well.
3) Fargo - Coen Bros. William H Macy. Steve Buscemi. Enough said.
4) Duck Soup - the comedy in which the Marx Brothers set the standard for sarcastic, dry wit, over the top, humor for the next 100 years. In my top five ever.

There are others here I liked, but these are the ones you should rent. Tonight.

I am very interested in seeing #3 and 4 on your list...and yeah, I'd see "The Usual Suspects" for Kevin. He's a marvel. The first one, I've avoided because it pushes some of my stress buttons (no, really! :-P), but I'm sure I'll give it a go at some point. Thanks for the recs.
