Help, please?

So, I've spent the day sick in bed, mostly reading and contemplating the disorganization of my life. Among other things, I think that I'd like to be updating my LJ more often (I know I enjoy reading yours, even if I don't always comment). The only thing is, I never seem to know how often I should post or what's worthy of a post (I've got a two ( Read more... )

Hmm. I'm indesisive between a b c and d. Sorry I couldn't narrow it down my thoughts anymore.

Though on another note, you have IP logs enabled too?! It seems within the past month half of my friends page turned IP logging on....I'd like have no one to post on if I were on a direct connection..

Oh, I just do that because I'm curious. Does it bother you?

I'd like have no one to post on if I were on a direct connection..
What do you mean by that?

Oh it does in deed, or rather would. would refering to your second question, because being on campus appearntly LJ nabs an IP that isn't actually mine I found out. Wouldn't be posting on any journal that gives my real ip to the user.

Did you know that your IP gets packaged in when you send email? ;)

Hmm, I usually post about every other day...unless something/nothing interesting has happened. I say post whenever something's happened that you'll want to remember, be it small like the particular way the sunlight looked that morning or big like a party. Once a week, maybe? I always enjoy reading friends' posts whatever they're about.

You should post whenever you have something to say. No matter how insignificant or irrelevant that "something" might be, bear in mind that to those who aren't you, everything you have to say no matter how mundane it might seem, is new and interesting. If it wasn't interesting, well, they shouldn't be on your friends list! These ARE journals after all no matter how public they are. They're here to record your life firstly, and secondly to let the rest of us see how you are.
Don't be worried about posting something boring- if that happens, people just won't comment.

Post when/whatever you want! Not that I really have a right to answer this, being the livejournal leech that I am--reading other peoples even though I don't have a journal of my own.

But anonymous posts are fun!

And for the record, any post is outstanding in my book if there's a Princess Bride quote in it.

Meep!

hehehe. Yes. You do. I spoke to you at length at lunch on Sunday. I'd rather not put my name here, as I generally judge that a bad idea, but if you still don't know who I am, I'll email you or something.:)
