My days before Christmas were with last-minute shopping (not my fault my family is bad about offering suggestions until the last minute) and regular work and going back and forth with my neurologist's office and pharmacies trying to get my prescriptions filled before the end of the year.  I still have one in mysterious limbo, but at least we got ( Read more... )

I did at least manage to watch some spooky movies for Halloween (namely Werewolf by Night.)  Well, and some Rifftrax.  But as usual, I had no trick-or-treaters.  I've already finished off all the mini-Crunch bars.

A few weeks ago I noticed a tiny lizard had slipped inside the house and I wasn't able to catch him to release him outside.  Last week I spotted a larger lizard in the office and I wonder if it's the same one; if so I hope the increase in size is from eating bugs.  I lost sight of him again until a couple days ago I spotted him peaking his head ( Read more... )

It was a dreary day Wednesday but not rainy until the evening.  I turned down my air just in case and had a nice evening playing on the computer and reading.  There were a couple blackout spurts, but the power did not finally go out until I was in bed, trying to sleep while the wind wailed in the night.
