You, my dear, did an incredible job! I heard several people comment that was the easiest troll in experience they have ever had. Very organized. Even if you did break the cash register. ;-)
Sorry to miss - I'm very interested in the geometric illustration...but please share the 'standard warmup' for the revels! Also, more info please on the "linen cotehardie with the Turkish coat." (My Saffavid garb proceeds apace.)
I can have Lorenzo email you the cheat sheets, so you can have them work on if you like. Hmmm.....I'll also have him email his Collection of Beginning Dances. It's 7 page booklet with various cheat sheets, and a page of where to obtain the music for the dances. Practicing the steps only works so much if you don't have the music.
What I want to do is make a linen cotehardie that buttons all the way up the front. I want to make a Turkish coat and a pair of pants to wear with it. That way I can wear the cotehardie if we are dancing European, or put the coat on and dance Middle Eastern. I was watching Jadi dance one revel and noticed the similarity between her underdresses and how a cotehardie fits. Wouldn't be perfectly period, but it would give me the right feel for whatever I happen to be dancing.
