Summer Collegium and upcoming projects
This was the first year the Shire of Drakenmere held Summer Collegium without the help of a host barony. There were a few issues, mainly with directions and information. I didn't mean to go two months between posts. My personal life has been a bit crazy lately. I actually have two posts in mind. One I've been thinking about for a while, and this one about RUM. Of course, I also meant to post right after the event while everything was still fresh in my mind. Better late than never, as my mom says.

KA&S
I was going to enter my Anglo-Saxon poem in performing arts at KA&S next weekend, but I have decided not to. Or at least not this year. I do want to enter it, but I want to do it RIGHT. I know I need to work on the documentation. I have not had a chance to make it to the library. I need to document the performance style, not just the poem itself. ( Read more... ) -

I had an entire rant in my head, but I am not going to post it. It was full of generalities I know to be untrue and unfair. Suffice it to say I am frustrated, upset, angry, and disappointed. A lot of the fun has just been sucked out of something I love. -
KA&S ball list
I have my ball list figured out for KA&S. I have emailed it to the head of the minstrels guild to see if there will be musicians attending who would like to play. The only songs I prefer to have recorded music for is Rostiboli Gioioso (to lead into the Piva, they do not yet have a good Piva), Ballo Del Fiore (to lead into the Galliard, they do not ( Read more... )
