SAN is really freakin' cool.

For anyone who has never played with it, iSCSI-based SANs are really, really freaking cool.  I just set up a Promise VTrak that we picked up from RAID, Inc. on a recommendation from tk7602 , and though it had a bit of a learning curve, it is now rocking my world.

Are you running this on a dedicated network? If not, how much interference with other network traffic are you seeing?

Yep, dedicated network. We, um, have a lot of extra SAN-capable switches hanging around. Long story. :-)
