Best thing about property ownership (It sounds like you're doing all the right things) - It's yours. No sudden sales, no question of whether you'll still be here in a couple years, it's your pile of bricks.
Worst thing - It's yours. Along with any problems that arise. Recently we discovered the renovator had papered over an airbrick in our bedroom. Isn't life fun?

On the up side, it's a condo, not a house, so I don't have to worry about things like roofs and furnaces and water mains. It's better that way.
I don't know what Ubuntu is, but sounds evil. Get back on and send me photos of the rugrat. He's got to be so big now.

We are really enjoying owning our house. Being able to paint/plant/hang-up whatever we like is liberating!
