Here I am again

So, I've sort of been condo-hunting, but there isn't much in my price range with my (admittedly picky) requirements so it was taking ages. I bid on one last May that I failed to get (by $2k because my realtor knows nothing). Hey honey! I am still alive. Andy sicced Ubuntu on my machine and I can't figure out the messenger. Will do soon though and catch up properly.

Best thing about property ownership (It sounds like you're doing all the right things) - It's yours. No sudden sales, no question of whether you'll still be here in a couple years, it's your pile of bricks.
Worst thing - It's yours. Along with any problems that arise. Recently we discovered the renovator had papered over an airbrick in our bedroom. Isn't life fun?

Yeah, I hope I know people who can fix stuff because I'm useless at anything more involved than changing a bulb. That makes me a bit nervous.
On the up side, it's a condo, not a house, so I don't have to worry about things like roofs and furnaces and water mains. It's better that way.

I don't know what Ubuntu is, but sounds evil. Get back on and send me photos of the rugrat. He's got to be so big now.

I only just saw this today (LiveJournal's been wonky for me).

Congrats!

We are really enjoying owning our house. Being able to paint/plant/hang-up whatever we like is liberating!

Good luck with the move!
