friends only

from now on my journal will be "friends only".
is there a way to change the security settings so that every entry i post is automatically friends only, or do i have to select "friends only" from the drop down menu everytime i post a new entry?

did you click on the read more link? :) basically it involves working with your console (www.livejournal.com/admin/console) and just adding this:

set newpost_minsecurity friends

Oh, I am so sad to read that your LJ will be for friends only. I don't know you but have read your LJ and you are so very good at communicating with others. You are so respected and I enjoy your postings.

Why would you do a friends only LJ? I am somewhat new to LJ, so I don't know. I do hope you will have one that is not just for friends so others like myself are inspired by you!
