between late bills, dental bills, and shorter hours at work, i have been poor as shit lately. living paycheck to paycheck sucks. i need to open a savings account or something. tomorrow i get to go have a tooth ripped out of my head. i cant afford to get a root canal like i actually need so instead i just have to hope that my wisdom teeth will push

That sucks man. I have a savings account but it doesnt really do much. Last month I made 27 cents of interest. Still, it helps me not spend money that I would probably waste if I had it sitting around.

when you have a savings account you do have to put money in it for it to really do anything. so far that concept seems totally lost on the above posters.

Lately I have kept about 2000 dollars in it, but that is not enough to actually make $ on interest. Thats all I was trying to say.

yeah. savings accounts aren't very high interest because they aren't very high risk.
