life has been pretty unacceptable lately. broken bike equals borrowing money from beth that i cant afford to repay. work sucks. the weather has been miserable. my feet hurt all the time and i cant afford new shoes. but theres some high points such as beth, roommates, fixed bike and christmas

omg what happened to your bike? :( i'm glad it's fixed, whatever it was... because we totally have to ride together soon, so we can be bike twins-- two days ago i bought an '06 fuji track. it's blue, and if i remember correctly yours is blue as well, lol. anyway it is amazing and i can't get enough of it and i am currently so obsessed you won't hear me talk about much else. hit me up at 804 502 6367 (temporary cellphone) anytime this week (after tuesday) if you want to go for a bike ride around the fan or something. word.

also: did you take your bike to re-cycles? those dudes are super cool and nice and have excellent prices that kick the ass of any other shop in the city... they're the place to go for sure. tuesday i'm getting a nerdy front brake installed on my bike for ~30 bucks parts and labor, which is half the price anyone else in the area gave me.

i had broken spokes and brought it into to get fixed. he gave me a good deal and all that shit but then two days later i go to stop and the cog on my rear wheel strips completely. basically making it impossible to stop. he took it apart to clean and fix it and somehow fucked it up
