NaNoWriMo Update
So yeah, those of you who happened to read my entry at the end of October should recall that I was about to make my second attempt at NaNoWriMo. The target, of course, is to write 50,000 words during the month of November. My previous attempt produced a rather poor 6,000 and so, at the very least, I was looking for an improvement on that ( Read more... ) -
Hurrah!
I'm attempting NaNoWriMo again. For the uninitiated NaNoWriMo is a contraction of NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth and the idea, as the name suggests, is to write a novel in the space of a month. The target is 50,000 words which works out at around 1,667 per day ( Read more... ) -
Oh dear god...
What worries me most about this is that someone, somewhere, actually thought this would be a good idea. There is a human being (or possibly several) who, having heard this idea, were in a position to say 'stop'. And they didn't do it. The person or persons responsible have redefined 'epic fail'.
