So, I have finished my first year of grad school, and all I can say is I am fucking exhausted mixed with some relief. This past month has been hellacious between the work I had to get done and the internal politics bullshit/ drama occurring within the department. Sometimes, I really do love a good thunderstorm. Tonight I went out and walked around/ played in this magnificent storm. It was raining hard enough to get me soaking wet, but not enough to be a torrential downpour, which is near perfect. I think I am one of the few people who likes to be, or does not mind being drunk dialed by friends. I get called more often then not because I am up so obscenely late every night, but it makes for such great stories, especially when they forget the conversation. =P I have now been drunk-dialed from all the timezones in the continental US. Wandering around in bookstores is good for my soul. I have quite a few books to add to my list of things I want to read, now all I need to do is find the time for free-reading-hopefully this summer.
