After spending the morning with Parker, Isabel decided it was easier to think Jack hadn't gotten her message then to think he deliberately ignored it. She didn't want to push. But she did want to see her friend.
"Come in," he called from under a towel. He was drying his hair, the goal of a shower having been achieved. He also wasn't wearing a shirt, but that was just to be expected. "Door's not locked."
"Izzy, hey." He flashed her a grin and draped the towel around his neck. "And that was never going to change. You look pretty damn good yourself. What have you been up to?"
"It's open," he called, back to the door as he hung up a shirt in the closet. He still wasn't wearing one, though. "And it's Jack's room again, so everyone's welcome."
Jack spun around so fast he just about fell over. "Cedric." That was pretty much all he had, but his smile was warm and welcoming, even if he didn't realise it.
Rory had crashed early last night - taking care of one's...whatever the hell Anakin was these days...in cat form was exhausting, and as a result she hadn't heard the radio podcast until this afternoon.
Which was why after Anakin exasperated her one time too many, she left him alone with Vladdie as she'd been threatening all week and went to seek better company next door. She knocked, hoping that Jack actually was staying there and not with Cedric or something.

Izzy had just left, and Jack was sitting on the desk again, staring at his hands. It was easier than thinking. "Come in," he called without looking up.
