Sam was sleeping better than she had in weeks, snuggling back against Jack and enjoying the extra warmth. The size of the bunk didn't bother her--it wasn't like she was trying to maintain a professional distance from him, after all.
The sound of the falls and the smell of suddenly materialised coffee (the ship did great Martinis and even better coffee) dragged Jack back to consciousness, and he stretched, banging his feet on the end of the bunk.
He nuzzled the back of her neck, hands gliding over her body. "I'm very okay," he murmured. "You're going to have to get up to enjoy the coffee, though. There's something you're going to want to see."
