In the past few days, I have encountered various ... critters, for lack of a better word. On Friday night in the Target parking lot, I saw a huge winged insect with big eyes, white pointy teeth, and whiskers. Maybe it had eyebrows, too; I got away from that thing fast, so I don't know. It appeared to be injured, but it was not about to die.

Zak is a chef, so i am not sure - a lot of the kitchens he has worked in (including coops where he is now) have concrete floors. i really fear a decline in quality.
nevertheless, i have enough faith to purchase.
at least they are inexpensive :)

Now that I think of it, I would like to have some very tacky ladies to put in the yard, too. Maybe plastic ones, in swimsuits (or naked). Hmm.

I am a bit scared of the Crocs. I went in a shoe store the other day just to touch them and they kind of freaked me out.
I think I'll stick to my hippy dippy birks :P
Also, so much animal adventure! I love wee frogs. I also love wee salamanders and such.
