I have a chigger bite.  It is located in the crease where my butt cheek meets the back of my thigh.  It is most unpleasant.

I had one of those recently, but not anywhere near where you have yours. Supposedly, you can stop the itch by putting clear nail polish on it (didn't work at all for me). I feel for you. I really do!

I also have several in the upper thigh/crotch area, but we won't go there. (Actually, the butt one is bugging me more.) And I have never had nail polish work at all, but sometimes tea tree oil helps. I'm sure I'll live.
