Maybe if they misuse it---but what if they can't control it?

...Power is easily misused. But the same power can end the conflict that arises from its misuse.

Does it depend on the person... or the way it's used?

It depends on the person and their purpose for fighting.

Right. Purpose for fighting! But it can't always just be that, can it? If... you can't control the power first.

To what power are you referring to ? The physical sense or the symbolic kind?

Any kind. The kind that can hurt or help people.

It depends on the circumstances then. Sometimes power must be utilized to hurt others in order to serve a greater good. The world isn't so black and white as you define it.

You mean... using it to stop people who are misusing their power?

I prefer 'introspective'.

You didn't answer the question.

To the first? No.

To the second? I think...It's necessary sometimes, but not always the final answer. If you have power but not the brains, what good does that do anybody?

So you're saying... some people shouldn't have power, because they won't be able to use it right?

Reply

Well, no. Not really. It's just that...Power is a funny, funny thing. And does weird things to some people. They don't think when they want it. It...Clouds perception. It's not necessarily a means to an end, in the long run. Believe me, I've seen it eat people alive...People who might not have...Gone the way they did if they hadn't given in to it.

...is it because certain people can't handle it? Or maybe... that humans just aren't meant to have that kinda power, anyway. Maybe we'd be better off it we didn't.

True power comes from having someone to protect.

Does it make you less scared of it when you do?

Umm, it's like... well...

Say you have this power. It's very strong, but also very dangerous. And people hate you because you have it and they're afraid of you too. Your whole life you've wondered why it had to be you that has this power and stuff. Then one day you realize that... you can use it to help protect your friends and loved ones. After that, it doesn't seem so bad anymore.

Does that make sense?
