WARNING: train of thought on the L word

Jul 13, 2005 22:12

After watching romantic comedy after romantic comedy, you want "it" more than anything else... but at the same time you realize that maybe you're not doing anything wrong. Maayyybe--just maybe--it's not your fault, or anyone's fault for that matter. It might come once, twice, or if you need it to smack you down a third time it could. But how can ( Read more... )

kk, if you ever wonder what love looks like just walk down the hall and glance at ur parents. love is what got u here, and those other three too. so don't worry so much. love is real. it would become more real if we would stop calling it the L word. tara and richard feel that way i image...and if they didn't you would never know b/c of that whole caholics don't divorce thing. kidding. cheer up!

but my parents aren't like the love in the sense that i think about it. like it's not playful and fun. it's constant and booohoooooring. or maybe that part goes away after a while and kids get in the way. i'm not upset though. like i'm for once not upset. i just don't understand it, but maybe that's the point. no one does.

wow. i've never thought of love like that.

i always thought that it was something that was invented for us. But then when I look back and read like really old stories and stuff.. people loved each other and did crazy things back in like the fourteenth century. So it can't be completely movie produced.

I think maybe someone one started love and everyone else saw how great it was and wanted it to.

i dunno... that's weird. I never thought of it bfore

kk you have to be one of the deepest people i kno right now. I so know what you mean when you say that you love to look at movies and read books about people in love because i do the same thing, i think that love is there, but on movies and in books they make it seem like this paradise that never goes away and i just dont think that it will be that way all the time. love isnt something that you just leave alone and it will always be there love can die, therefore u have to work on it and what makes it really love is the fact that you want to work on it and u love to be in love...i know thats kinda weird but thats how i think about it. love will be perfect for awhile but perfect gets old and new and better things come along so love seems to die so you have to reinvent urself and reinvent love or else you will get sick of love urself.
