Good bye my friends. I'm leaving for Montreal tomorrow =( I hope you all have a splendid rest of the summer and I'll see you all at Christmas. I hope to organize another gathering, of the holiday-theme when I get back. I'll make better reservations this time, I promise.

your 'lover'? anonymous August 17 2006, 01:57:07 UTC
I thought your boyfriend is in Montreal... so wouldn't it be "hello my lover, goodbye my friend"?

unless... lili has somebody on the side in T.o. that we don't know about. (lol. pure joking, no offense meant ;))

We can ride up the mountain on horseback with a mountie? I would so totally be up for that, lol ;) a chalet? I don't know that i've ever seen it... I suppose we'll need sustenance after the trip up the 'mountain', heh.

eh, the reservations weren't your fault, lili. and it all worked out in the end ;)... I'm totally willing to help co-ordinate holiday get-together(s) if you feel you could use some help :)

Looking forward to the rest of Lili's lil' guide... but don't stress out about it, Ming and I coming to visit you should not be a source of stress :) At dim-sum you started listing enough activities to fill at least a couple of weeks, heh. You know so much about Montreal! It puts me to shame... I know of no such bounty of activities in Waterloo >.<

"If you're taking the coach here"...

what coach do you mean? we're taking the via train, not sure if it's a 'coach'...

lili, there is a cruise "deal" that i found online that i felt i should inform you of:

http://www.bateaumouche.ca/eng/nouvelle.htm

it's for sept. 4 or 5 (after ming and i leave), it's a dinner cruise. $59.95+tax, apparently is a 'deal'...

actually, my friend and i are planning on doing a joint birthday party aug 30, the following day. that'll probably be a bar... so just something a bit fancier than what you would normally wear, e.g. jeans with a frilly shirt or something.

i might go out for dinner on my birthday, it's all really up in the air right now cuz i've been busy. um... just pack one or 2 nice shirts and i'm sure it'll work out. i can always lend you stuff so it won't be a problem anyway. =)
