Weekend Adventure
I'm exhausted from this weekend. So much fun, fast-paced action has left me body feeling like a rag doll. However, not that I'm back in the dullness of work, I hunger for the chance to do it all over again ( Read more... ) -

Stupid flat-footedness
Skated on the Rideau Canal a few days ago. Was pretty fun except for the jarring pain my skates were giving me. Partially due to the fact that I had tied them too tight but mostly due to the the arched support the skates were expecting my foot to have. Ignorance is funny.
While going to OC Transpo (Ottawa's TTC) today I'm shocked to find the lineup to stretch to the door (again). Meanwhile I notice the info booth's only has about 5 in queue. Ever since I've lost my transit card (ouch!), I've been visiting this line to see if anyone's turned it in. In passing, I hear one of the employees on duty mention that the ( Read more... ) -

I absolutely abhor people who talk ridiculously loudly in the office. I mean, this is supposedly a professional environment! Seriously, the cubical walls are high enough that this should be a non-issue but one of the HR ladies sitting in the cubical across the 'hall' from me is so audible I can hear every conversation she makes! January Update.
Well I'm in Ottawa.
Interesting town this. People here seem much friendlier than those in Toronto, possibly due to the more relaxed nature of the city. City has a lot of nice scenic views as well which is a welcome change to the drab cities of 'Loo and Toronto.
As for work, the government is a never-ending supply of bureaucracy. Hard to get ( Read more... ) -
As I Breath My Last Few Breaths of 2006 . . .
I think about all the things I have learned over the passing year. Academically, this would be the end of my 3rd year in Computer Engineering at Waterloo. With that, I feel that much endurance for pain has increased that much more. Course marks in general have gone up (with the exception of the communications [mostly due to final, ouch!]).
