AWWWWWWWW! Ooh you made me actually like Sylvia! A rare feat indeed. This was sublime. The depth of their relationship shone through in so many tiny details, so well built up as the story unfolded, so intimate and touching &hearts
Sigh....thanks for this, I am a puddle of very happy goo!

Wow, thanks so much again for those amazing compliments, they make my day!
I actually mostly dislike Sylvia myself because of the way she treats Donna, so it was some sort of challenge to myself to write this. I'm very glad that you appreciate the result ;)

Thanks so much for those wonderful words! Yeah, my stories tend to be pretty slow because I include so many details and seemingly (?) unimportant things, but I'm glad that you appreciate that! :D

Haha, that's one of my hobbies as well ;) The amount of time I spent just today staring off into space thinking of similar Doctor/Donna scenarios... *dreamy*
Thanks so much again! :D

Golly, I love this one, too. Ten/Donna, soul mates, so intertwined in their hearts, loving each other so gently and completely. Will Sylvia ever understand? I'm not sure why she gets so aggravated. After all, her daughter is turning forty. Sylvia's a bit of a prude to be checking out whether or not Donna and Ten are wearing their clothes.

Sylvia is just so sad. I worry for her sometimes, after I stop being angry with her. You make me feel compassion for her, which is quite a trick.

Yay, thanks so much again! I personally like to think that there'll come a day that Sylvia will understand and I hoped to make a start with that in this fic.
Indeed, Sylvia's reaction towards Donna often puzzles me. I initially didn't like her at all, but now I'm beginning to think that she truly loves Donna and is very protective of her, wants the best for her, but just is very bad at actually showing that to her daughter.
Sylvia checking out their clothing was for me a way of her wanting to make sure that the Doctor hadn't "taken advantage" of the situation, so to speak, to show her protective side in its twisted form :)
