Today was a good day. It started with getting to work and Dana telling me, "I just thought you should know, I went to the park with Noah this weekend and had notone, but two moms come up to me and tell me what an awesome nanny I have.". I found out today that one of the guys I graduated with died in a helicopter crash in Afgahnistan. I was never close to him, in fact I think I mad eit a point to ignore him in high school, but it is still sad. The kind of thing that makes you remember that this stuff happening is real, and not just some far away thing that has nothing to do with us

So I've decided to volunteer at the SPCA in Raleigh. I will get to work with animals, and hopefully meet new people. I have orientation this coming Saturday. I am very excited ( Read more... )
