I didn't take these wonderful pictures and/but the valium idea MIGHT have been a factor indeed! How else could Chuck have so beautifully performed on so many occasions and with such loving patience, stillness and trust.

Cute pictures. I like the book one. Although I briefly entertained the horrific notion that Chuck was like the taxidermied pet from Scrubs.

A fine book! Have you already read Midnight's Children? I think you must have mentioned reading that ages ago, or was it some other Rushdie... I just went over my Fall 2004 essay for Possession--I sure thought a lot of Princess Coldheart and similar archetypes back then. Back when I was young and stupid and needed the money.
