I am so excited to do a Christmas Eve appetizers party at my house now, even if it's just for Ed and I! I can make all the stuff I always WANT to make for the holidays but no one ever wants me to bring because it just makes for too much food.

Agreed! I'm looking to make our own traditions, and want to get started on them. It's hard when I'm still trying to fit my family's existing traditions in, but I want to start things when Mia is young that she can grow up with and when she's 27 and married with children (if she so chooses!), she can figure out how to fit these into her own.
