Just got an email from Netflix that House Bunny and What Happens in Vegas will be arriving tomorrow! Woo-hoo! Friday night will be movie and pizza night in our house! :o)

I'm back from Naples!I ran in the Naples 1/2 Marathon this Sunday. Nate and I ran in this race together last year, and I wanted to run in it again as part of my marathon training. Eating 2 dozen cookies over the course of 3 days is NEVER a good idea, no matter how tasty they look.

P.S. My belly hurts... :o(

P.P.S. I am finally finished with my holiday baking! Double batches of chocolate mint cookies, sand tarts, pecan puffs, buckeyes and one White Christmas pie *DONE*! Now I can start eating normally again.

I think I figured out how to share our favorite proofs without ya'll having to be re-directed to our photographer's site. There were a ton to choose from, but so far these are our favorites. :o)

Yay!!!We just got our proofs back from our beach photo shoot!!! We took the photos on Thursday evening and I would totally recommend our photographer, Katie Beyer. She was professional, always responded to e-mails right away, was super-sweet in person, was quick to get us our proofs (we needed them quick to pick one to use in our Christmas cards ( Read more... )

I made the most delicious dessert for Nate's Thanksgiving pot luck at work. It's called *chocolate pecan cheesecake bars* and, while I got it from bakeorbreak.com, it's a Paula Dean recipe.
