Theatre Etiquette - Slight Rant
I went to watch Lion King last Saturday and while the stage performance was great, the experience as a whole was brought down a significant notch by noisy smelly people in the crowd. A sobering glance
Once again I'm sinking in to that perpetual hole of sadness. I feel like the comforting places in the world for me are either out of my reach or completely turned into places of unwelcome tension. back in the land of dreary weather
So i've been back for the past... erm.. 3 days and it's been really good. the weather is interesting... it's warm outside but cloudy. I felt icky at the stomach today, but i seem to be doing a little better than i was when i first got back. lesson one should learn: never eat 2-week old canned goods. VERY BAD. So my dad left today for a seminar for all the chief of staffs in the UN at Brindisi, Italy. He'll be there for the next week so it'll just be my sisters and I... We're trying to make a gameplan for ourselves while we're alone here... Wall Art
Today was interesting. It started with our waiting an hour for the people who would come with us to Bethlehem and taking lots of photos with my sister's camera. Then when we were on our way, we got stuck in a traffic jam. Wet soil
There's something different about the smell of the rain - lightly wafting in through the open window with the mild breeze - that is distinct to this place. It has the effect of calming my nerves. Fourth day here...
There's this horrid pounding noise coming from upstairs, where they're renovating. It's horrible. I don't know how long it will last. In any case I don't want to go out right now because it's uber hot and the sun is beating down like crazy ( Read more... ) -
