 Just wanted to post to say that I've checked LJ several times this week and am disappointed in the changes I've found.  Why can't I scroll through and look at my friends page beyond the few most recent entries?  If I wanted to look back and see what I missed would I have to go to each users' personal journals?

Hmmm... well, I went to your friends page, and I was able to go back as many pages as I wanted, just by using the same old "earlier" link at the bottom of the page.

it only lets me go to last 10 entries, I can go back once by clicking "earlier" but it only shows me two or three entries beyond what is on the first page and then only leaves me the option of going back to the previous page

I guess I'll revise further, it lets me go back exactly 50 entries, no more, through my regular friends list. but I usually only look at sub-category friends lists and when I choose a group to see it only lets me see the past 10 entries

WHOA, okay, now I see what you mean. That's rather effed up.

Okay, so, I went on one of my side accounts to see if the same thing happens, and sure enough, it does. And I'm pretty sure it never used to do that.

But on my main account, I can get to skip=230 before I'm no longer able to continue. Oddly enough, I think it has to do with the date. Anything before the 28th or so of August, you can't get to on the friends page.

Damn. I really think that is a recent thing! And it's BS. :(
