Haven't posted here in weeks. Moved into my new place in Whitmore Lake. Divorce was finalized yesterday. That's about it.

Today is Amber's birthday. She is 16. Amber passed away February 24, 2006 after a long illness. I know nothing of the afterlife but I like to think that she is in a better place now where she will never be sick again. Moving has been put on hold.

I'm sick, again. I felt pretty good last night when I was out and about but as soon as I got home I felt yucky again.

Just a laid back weekend. One more week of working at the hospital and then it's a month-long vacation for me.

Back to Desperate Housewives...

Major budget miscalculation may force me to stay home this weekend. :( I hate paying bills and I need a third job. I'm beginning to seriously consider a few offers to do extensions. I'll have quite a bit of time on my hands while I'm laid off, which starts in less than 2 weeks and the extra cash wouldn't hurt.

Darlin at American Graffiti in Brighton is awesome. We got a great start on my cover-up done today. The outline is finished as well as the black and grey. Now we just have to add some color. My car is finally fixed. Turns out it was nothing more than a spark plug that wasn't firing correctly and two crossed wires. Apparently the mechanic that did the tune-up didn't catch it. :( But it's fixed now and she's running like a champ. Wheel bearings are next ( Read more... )

There's a very good reason why I don't discuss religion in a work environment. I don't feel like explaining myself at this moment. This is just a reminder to write more about it later and hopefully that will relieve some of the frustration that I'm feeling right now. Either that or I'll just go for a run after I get home...
