Hard Days Behind and Ahead

Today has been one of those days I so often like to write about here in live journal. I got up at 0330, was at work by 0400, and have been here ever since. It is now 1900 and only 14 more hours to go. Since when did 24 hour duty stop being 24 hours? It's all good though. Exercise preperation takes presedence anyway, so I have actually been working

Yes women are different than men.

Don't take this is an attack or anything or an insult, but what screws you is that there are women in the Army that are tougher than you and B are. Men in the Army aren't all trying to make the women as tough as they are. They are trying to make the women as tough as a SOLDIER should be. You know that I am understanding about your capabilities, but you also know that I hold everyone to the same standard of being a soldier. That is the way it should be.

You have developed thicker skin since getting here homey. B needs to get a little of that too.

"I am a Soldier first..." right?

Ok. Enough of the Army Dogma. In short, you have gotten tougher and it would help B if you could show her the ropes in that sense.

I know. I am working on it and trying to step it up. I don't like "complaining" to you guys anymore because I know it must drive you crazy, so I rant here. Trying to find a little stability in a sinking ship. Thanks though. I do understand.
