i am breaking my year of lj silence.

to get you all up to date, i moved to nyc, i'm going to grad school, and, well, pretty much everything else is the same.

my grandma passed away at 7:15 this morning. if you knew her, you probably cared for her. she was a vivacious woman who never took no for an answer, and she got to leave according to her plan ( Read more... )

my grandma is not doing well at all. i stayed at her house last night to watch over her. today she told me, "dr. knight said i could die in the hospital or die at home. i chose home." it's so hard to watch someone you love so much slip away. she's still very lucid, but keeps having terrible chest pains and vomits constantly ( Read more... )
