Holy fuck...my baby is due in less than 2 months, 49 days to be exact. How did that happen? Where did the past 8 months go? Well, I'm an old married lady now. Me and Spencer got married on July 2, 2011! I'm so happy. We ended up having a small ceremony on the beach. His mom and grandma were able to fly out, so we had some family there. We're hoping to do a smallish ceremony in Ohio next summer since none of my family was able to come to Hawaii ( Read more... )

Well, me and Spencer have a place together off base! It's super awesome. It's a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom townhouse in a gated community. It's in such a pretty area and it's really close to base, so it's really convenient, especially since me and Spencer are on different shifts now. Well, I've been in Hawaii for a little over a month now and I am loving it here. I mean, what's not to love about 70-80 degree weather in January? I'm definitely not complaining. I finally made E-4, so I'm now a Petty Officer 3rd class. I can't wait to start getting the extra $180 a month. Spencer and me are looking for a place to live once we can ( Read more... )

Well, it's been just over a week since i graduated from my job training for the navy. That's a year and a half of my life that I'll never get back. But it was definitely worth it, because if I hadn't been there I would never have met Spencer, my amazing boyfriend. So the year and a half of Chinese was definitely worth it. I'm excited to be done.
