Gods, I'm getting absent-minded! I meant to tell you yesterday when I first read this that it sounds yummy. It's made a lot like my grandmother made beef stroganoff, and she did a *wicked* beef stro. About the only differences is that the cut her onion into slices rather than dicing it and added about twice as much Worcestershire sauce. I would love this over egg noodles with a salad on the side and a glass of good red wine!
Anyhow, I hope that you and the Viking will like it, and maybe some day I can get you to make it for Harry & me. (On my nickel, of course!)
Hello, Vi, Funny you should mention the slices as opposed to diced because that's exactly what I do. With me the Worchestershire sauce varies. The Viking and I do like it. I've been fixing it for several years now. I'd be happy to make it for all of us. It's nummy! Winter is better because it is definitely cold weather food. I've made the mistake of fixing it in warm weather and was too hot afterwards and you know that's saying something coming from me. Of course you can have your share over noodles. Blessed Be, Angelique
Sure. Do you want me to add you back? I warn you now. The Atkin's is probably the most interesting stuff and it's public. Mostly I post a lot of memes. Blessed Be, Angelique
I don't have an Atkin's Log. I publically post very good Atkin's recipes that I've tried or would like to try. On the other hand I've lost around 60 pounds on Atkins since January 2003. Blessed Be, Angelique
Hi! You don't know me, but I've seen you posting at a couple of communities I belong to, so I thought I'd check out your LJ. It was your "Blessed Be" sign off, actually. It's also part of my day-to-day. :)
I'm not into Atkins per se, but I AM into the Zone, which is very similar. The Stroganoff sounds amazing! I like to use spaghetti squash in place of noodles for a lot of recipes and it works very well! I steam it with salt and pepper.
I hope you enjoy the Stroganoff. It's one of my favorite recipes. I've considered using the spaghetti squash but I've only seen it about 3 times in 7 years. The last time I saw it they only had the big ones and my daughter won't eat squash of any kind so I passed. Nice to meet you. Blessed Be, Angelique
Ah! My sweetie's the same way! All squash is mine! ~~sigh!~~

..interestingly, if your icon is you and your sweetie, we have something else in common! My sweetie is ginger-haired irish/dutch with a tidily-kept beard. Just a coincidence, so I had to say it!
If my sweetie were home I wouldn't have the squash problem as he eats it. He travels constantly with his job though. Yes, my icon is myself and my sweetie. His grandfather was from Ireland. The coincidence really makes me want to see a picture of you and your sweetie. Blessed Be, Angelique
