My kid screamed for hours last night. The only time he'd be happy and sleep more than 5 minutes was in my arms being rocked in the dark of his room. So needless to say I had to forego everything. I wonder if he is getting an ear infection? He's been pulling at those ears, waking a lot at night, and stuffy, sneezing, coughing, etc in the ( Read more... )

It might be allergies. Doctors say that babies don't develop allergies until they're 2, but I think that's BS. I have allergies and Xavi started showing signs early as well. But it could be an ear infection, obviously try some Tylenol and see if that helps. Frozen waffles are also good for the aches of teething.

Just give him waffles to chomp on? When did you get Xavi to eating solids pretty well?

The frozen waffles aren't like eating waffles for breakfast. They gum them up enough to make them soggy (and gross) enough to swallow.

I don't remember when he was on solid solid food. not too early- 6 months? Whenever they're scheduled to. That's sad I don't remember.

yes they gum them up and make them gross, and sometimes they don't choose to eat them, but who cares because the real great thing about the waffles is a) cold helps numb sore gums and b) waffles come with little pre-packaged droll cups.
