October is closing, and November is just right around the corner.  It's strange how quickly time is passing these days.  Youth, you seem so far from me now, yet the memories are still so fresh in my mind.

Autumn has turned out to be quite the devastating season.  It has also turned out to be quite a productive one for me though.

I really like going to bars. No, not bars where you dance and get dressed up. Just regular bars to mingle with friends, grab a drink and sit back. You know, bars where you can actually somewhat hear one another.

God I'm such a boring guy.

I knew from the get-go that when I picked up cycling, I would eventually run into:

• Hostile bastards. Get off your high horse. Just because I choose not to drive my car to get to a place THAT IS ONLY A MILE AWAY does not mean you have to be SUCH a douche.

I am so sad that I will not be able to attend "Mapping Global Inequalities" in Santa Cruz. Part of it is that I am unable (or not willing) to pay 250 dollars for the conference, but I also feel like I shouldn't be there since the conference is directed towards Graduate students. Life is pretty set for me right now. I haven't been doing much, although I have been having some really vivid dreams. Sometimes I wonder if dreams should be taken at face value, or not. The only reason I bring this up is because I have never dreamt so vividly and consistently on a subject before.  I guess it just rattles me.

Most people already know that Los Angeles had a down pour of rain last Friday. I loved it, considering that we only received a pathetic 3.5 inches of rain last season.  The air is cool and crisp, and fall has finally settled into place.
