yesterday i went home because sky, the dog i have had since i picked her out of a litter at age 10, was very sick. we took her to the vet, and found out she had cancer, and we had to put her to sleep. it was one of the saddest days my family has had in a long time, and we all cried all day because she was the best friend we could have possibly

i'm so sorry, darling. i'm sure she was in a lot of pain, and now she's not feeling any of it. you had 12 amazing years with her, i'd say that's quite a run.
