Today, Saturday, we went to Feisole. It was rainy and very cold. We left around 1030ish and got back about 1 ish, so it was a very fast trip. Wow, that was an unexpected day! It is Epiphany today, and that it a state holiday here, so half the shops and whatnot were closed today! I ran out the door today to catch the parade, and whatever time it was supposed to start, and ran into my neighbor and his friends. We played the introduction game and then headed out. I got a call last Saturday evening, that a close and dear friend of mine had died in a car wreck on Friday night. This situation was incomprehensible. I had known my friend for almost 16 years, and he had just turned 39. I promptly flew to Texas for the services.
