Yes, I meant to link to that one. Very good. Given all the drugs that no doubt get taken/dealt etc. around both Westminster and 'Fleet Street', I think the denial of drug taking is one of the more hypocritical policies to which all politicians are expected to subscribe
thou in a similar vein I'm increasingly annoyed by the recent establishment tactic of quietly dropping objections on the grounds of 'morality' or links to 'supporting other greater criminal activities' (which seem to b quite patchy at best), and instead claiming to object solely on the grounds of "it being the sole cause of mental health problems that wouldn't have otherwise occured".
While I'm open to being won round IF they produce conclusive evidence of this link, I currently feel the outright refusal to even consider researching and analysing the claim speaks for itself. (Im particularly uphappy about the adoption of an unpreventable 'scapegoat' for adult mental illhealth at a time when Gov and society all but flatly deny the emotional and psychological consequences of prejudice and hate crimes against/amongst children and youth.)
