Interestingly enough, and ironically enough, pride was something that I had lost in that relationship. There was no need to be indignant with her. It's something which I've had to regain in the past few days.

I promise I will get back to telling my tale, but I wanted to capture my thoughts and emotions so I don't forget. I feel a lot better. I know I needed a period with which to grieve. The concept of human nature is a funny thing. Is one inherently good? I don't know the answer, but I don't think there is any good or bad--no right or wrong.
