Does... anyone know how to play capture the flag?
I have just learned of this game, and while some may not want to play in the snow...
I would... really like to guard the flag. If...if we can get enough people to play, sometime.
Um, would any of you be interested?

Do you have any idea how much I love you right now, Aara?
You are like, my guardian recruitment angel.

I--I--
[Aara doesn't stutter.]
I'm no such thing.
[Still, she's smiling. She knows your type, Bobby, but she still takes the guardian angle bit to heart.]
Though... there is something I didn't tell you. Are... you outside still?
Reply
Oh, yes, you are. This game is much more likely to happen if we've got more than one person recruiting.
[Her question gets a nod.]
Yup. Out on the green.
Reply
Wait. Really?
[The green. Where she nearly attacked Zhaneel for the first time.]
Ah. Okay. Can I... may I meet you?

[He pauses at the slight hesitation in her voice, but shrugs.]
Of course.

Thanks. [She smiles--and will be right there.]
[Walks slowly, gathering her nerves with what she's about to tell him. He's obviously shared things with her, after all. And he clearly wasn't human...]
Hi. [Her voice is breathy and soft. Oh look! She found him. She must have been looking at her feet this whole time.]

[He waits outside, distracting himself with various snow related things, until he spots her heading towards him. And her inability to actually look up to greet him, which just kind of worries him.]
Hey. What's up? Everything okay?
Reply
Everything is fine. I just... have something I want to tell you.
[After she admits that, however, she clams up. She's never told any outsider this before. Bobby is her friend yes, but accidentally showing two people, and outright telling another, are two entirely different things.]
I'm... ah...

You don't have to tell me if you're not comfortable with it, Aara. But don't worry. Whatever it is, I'll be here for you.

You can create ice...
[She said it softly. A statement, not a question.]
You have an ability that normal humans do not. [Her hands move to press against her chest.] Like me.
[Except he wasn't like her. He was not angha, anyway.]
Reply
That's awesome, Aara. Can I ask what it is?
Reply
I have... never told anyone before. Except my family, but... it is different.
[A deep breath. At least she's able to meet Bobby's eyes again. Still, saying her family knew was a bit of an understatement, but he might better understand that. Back then, her family was her clan. Now... she had no family.]
I am angha. I take what most humans would call the form of a dragon.
[And now she watches him hesitantly, wondering what his first question might be--if he had any.]
Reply
And when she actually told him what her ability was, he had a bit of a harder time controlling his excitement.]
Are you serious? You can actually turn into a dragon? That? Is unbelievably cool.
Reply
You...you are not scared of me?
[She looks up at Bobby, eyes shining in delight, and unable to hide the hint of her smile.]
Reply
Of course not. You're a dragon, Aara, how awesome is that?
Besides, I've been around too many people with powers to ever be scared of someone just because of an ability they have. It's what they do with that ability that counts. And I seriously doubt you're going to go dragon and try to eat people any time soon.
[That last part is teasing, and he grins at her.]
Reply
Thank you, Bobby.
[Then she winces, a startled laugh escaping her directly after.] Definitely not. We angha do not eat people. Ever. [She makes a disgusted face at that.] I doubt humans would taste very good. Actually, we rarely eat in our other form. [A friendly chuckle.] We would have to buy or grow a lot more food if that was the case.
