It's bullshit because who isn't pro-life? People who believe abortion should be legal aren't anti-life. They just have a different understanding of what life is.
That's why anti-abortion is problematic also. No one's pro-abortion.
Anti-choice is more descriptive because they believe that abortion should not be a legal choice for women.
And not all people who consider themselves pro-life are against the death penalty, particularly the evangelical branch of the pro-life movement.

I didn't write, "There aren't people against abortion who support the death penalty and/or euthanasia" I wrote, "The pro-life movement is made up of people who are against the death penalty and euthanasia, as well as abortion." I gather that the latter position was supported by John Paul II.

I understood what you wrote. I was just saying that, of the people who consider themselves pro-life, not all of them interpret what it means to be pro-life the same. You seem to be laying out the Catholic position, but the evangelicals who consider themselves pro-life are largely pro-death penalty. You may not consider them true pro-lifers, but they do.
I'm 100% behind a woman's right to choose. On the other hand, the women I know who have had abortions...and I know three who have told me about them...said it was a terrible and traumatic decision. One still regrets it
