I'm both sad and happy (deliriously happy [cough]) to have it over with. I love this verse and these characters, and some of the supporting characters too, but this went on a lot longer than I ever dreamed it would, and I'm glad to finally be able to share the ending and give everyone some closure. Thank you!

Lovely. I'm so glad that you came back and finished the story, leaving us on hope rather than despair. I think it's an ending appropriate to this world.

However you now have me curious about David's interactions with Cate and what Liam's realization result in. ;-)

Lalalala! Can't hear you! LOL! Seriously, they're all clamoring for sequels and I'm ignoring every one of them. This verse is way too attractive; I can't afford to start anything else in it, heh.

When I read you was coming back I relaxed and waited to the end. I am so glad and your (Liam) plot was so clever and his characters so well marked: he is really a master, he can be good with his people and he can love Orlando and do everything he can to rescue his boy but, he has his pride and he no doubt of killing Marton with his own hands. I wish he could find a way to liberate slaves. Thank you so much for sharing. Martha

This did turn out to be Liam's story more than any other character, including Orlando. [nod] Sometimes you just have to write it and see who stands up and takes over. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it -- thanks for sticking with me to the end! {{}}

Thank you so much for finishing this story! It was well worth the wait! I'm glad Thewliss survived, and that David/Orlando and Liam were reunited. The tie-in with Dr. Blanchett was classic, and a great nod to PT's Kept verse! I can see the two 'verses merging at some point. Thanks, again!

You're very welcome, and thanks back for waiting for me to finish. :D

I hadn't originally intended to do an overt tie-in with PT's main cast, but it just seemed to work at the end there, so I went with it. Glad you liked it. :)
