Wow, I haven't posted for a long time. Looking forward to seeing Toronto for the first time next week, but I'm afraid that I haven't set enough travel time to see or do anything except for work stuff. At least I have set some time to spend in Atlanta to see some old friends during the 4th of July weekend

Today, we went to Akihabara, or Akiba, for short. All of the electronics, anime, dvds, manga, hentai, plastic model trains, model gundams, model cars, airsoft guns, etc. that you can stand

We went to Nara to see the largest indoor statue of The Buddha. Robert says that there is a larger one in Fukui, where he lives, but this one is famous and the other is unheard of. The statue is housed in the world's largest all wooden building. Nara also has lots of deer that are used to people and you can hand feed them. Had some pretty tasty

I left Charleston on Thursday morning. Atlanta to Seoul Korea was a pretty sweet flight. The meal services were all good and the pork stuffed dough ball buns were tasty. They didn't charge for red wine and get bringing it. Only slept so-so on the 14 hour flight after staying up all night on Wednesday night to pack and get everything set

So, I'm going to miss Dragon Con this year. This is partially due to me not getting my stuff together and plan to go. You know, getting a room and ticket months in advance. It will balance out, though, as I am saving up to go to see Bob in Japan
