Holiday stuff
It has been an absolute age since I posted anything on here. A quick check tells me that last time I posted I was stressed as hell about exams and last assessments and stuff. I can report all that went swimmingly and I managed to get fairly good results (Two HDs, a D and two Cs), meaning I maintain my D average overall, and have been happily on ( Read more... ) -
Been a while

Die evil semester, die!!!
Finally it's over and I have a chance to relax and recuperate. My final exam was today. I think I did OK. I was confident with most of my answers and only had to get a few. My confidence was severely damaged by the results of my essay for the subject, which I got back beforehand. I got a 50, which is pretty horrifying, considering I thought I'd ( Read more... ) -

So having finished studying for the day, I turn on the TV to zap my brain before sleep. SBS is showing this weird Japanese movie called Casshern. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Psychology have all the best experiments.
Testing the capacity of humans to detect and follow scent trails my arse, if this wasn't done for the lulz, I don't know what was.

Indy 4
Went to see Indy 4 on Saturday. I was fully expecting it to be shit but I had to see it anyway.
First I must say that it was not as bad as I was expecting. There were a few moments that were very enjoyable and in the spirit of the originals. That and I fucking love Ray Winstone, and he is obviously having a whole lot of fun here. They also largely ( Read more... ) -
Iron Man
Yesterday went to the Iron Man premiere with my geek homies from Sutekh. There were quite a few cosplayers, ranging from the guy who went as MODOK by cutting a face sized hole in piece of yellow cloth, putting a purple strip across at forehead height, then sticking on some action figure arms and legs next to the hole so that his head would look ( Read more... )
