No, we haven't! I bet the show makes firefighting look a lot more glamorous than it really is, LOL.

We are going down to check out a few apartments, maybe next week. Classes start Jan 6 so we do not have a lot of time.

It must be so frustrating when the power goes down for you! I imagine it's especially frustrating as you don't know how long the power will be down for!

We are close to the dam that sends power all over, including Seattle, so if power goes down ours tend to get restored first. But this is supposed to be a stormy winter so there will probably be more...
